VoxHook Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of VoxHook (“VoxHook,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, transfers, and deletes information when you use the VoxHook mobile app, legal webpages, backend services, AI generation features, subscriptions, credits, customer support, and content reporting features. VoxHook is a mobile AI video creation tool. Its core function is to generate talking digital-human videos from images or avatar materials, voice samples, scripts, and generation settings provided by users. The first version does not provide web-based creation or web payments.
Summary
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Generated video files are retained for no more than 30 days and are then deleted or made inaccessible.
- Video generation primarily relies on RunningHub cloud ComfyUI workflows, and necessary images and audio are sent to RunningHub for processing.
- You may delete your account in the App or submit privacy and deletion requests at support@voxhook.com.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to the VoxHook App, VoxHook backend APIs, legal and privacy webpages, user support, content reports, subscription and credit services, and any other features that display or link to this Policy.
This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, app stores, payment platforms, social media platforms, or other third-party services. Your use of third-party platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
2. Service Workflow and Data Flow
A typical VoxHook generation workflow is:
- You enter an idea, upload or take an image, or record/select a voice sample in the App.
- VoxHook backend stores necessary materials and, at your request, calls speech recognition, script generation, TTS, voice cloning, content safety, and task scheduling services.
- When you create a digital avatar or generate a video, we send necessary portrait/avatar images and synthesized audio to RunningHub or another video generation provider.
- RunningHub processes the image and audio in cloud ComfyUI workflows and produces lip-sync video task results.
- VoxHook downloads or retrieves the result and shows it to you for preview, download, saving to your device, or deletion.
As a result, your images, voice, scripts, synthesized audio, generated videos, task status, and error information may be transmitted and processed among VoxHook backend, Supabase Storage, RunningHub, and other necessary service providers.

4. Sensitive Information and Your Authorization
Images, likeness, voice samples, speech, and synthesized videos may be considered sensitive personal information in some jurisdictions, or may reveal identity, appearance, voice, age, health, emotion, race, religion, or other sensitive attributes. VoxHook does not intentionally create a biometric identity database to identify real-world identities, but digital avatar and voice cloning features necessarily process recognizable likeness and voice.
By using these features, you expressly authorize VoxHook and necessary service providers to process such materials to provide the Service. You may withdraw authorization for future processing by deleting materials, deleting videos, deleting your account, or contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed before withdrawal and does not affect records we must retain for safety, disputes, transactions, or legal obligations.
5. Device Permissions
- Microphone: recording ideas, voice samples, speech recognition, voice cloning, TTS previews, and video audio tracks.
- Camera: taking digital avatar portraits, person images, or other visual materials you choose to provide.

- Protect safety and rights: prevent scams, infringement, unauthorized likeness/voice cloning, child safety risks, credit abuse, attacks, or circumvention.
- Support and compliance: deletion requests, rights notices, reports, appeals, refunds, regulatory or legal requests.
- Improve the product: analyze feature usage, failures, and experience issues using de-identified, aggregated, or minimized data where reasonably possible.
7. RunningHub and Third-Party AI Processing
VoxHook primarily uses RunningHub as its video generation provider. RunningHub is a cloud AI content creation and ComfyUI workflow platform. VoxHook calls preset workflows via API, submits images and audio to RunningHub, and retrieves task status and output results.
RunningHub enterprise API documentation indicates that its service may use shared or dedicated GPU resources; shared resources may queue or be delayed. Workflow configuration is private by default unless the workflow owner publishes it. This does not mean that task inputs, outputs, task status, or processing logs will not be temporarily processed by RunningHub to provide the service, ensure security, troubleshoot, or comply with requirements.
We may transmit to RunningHub: avatar or person images, synthesized audio, workflow parameters, task IDs, generation status, output video URLs, error information, and necessary troubleshooting data. VoxHook may also use Supabase, Soniox / Whisper, OpenRouter and upstream models, MiniMax, ElevenLabs, Xiaomi MiMo TTS, Apple App Store, Google Play Billing, and similar services depending on configuration. See the Subprocessors List.
8. Model Training
Unless we separately obtain your explicit consent or provide clear in-product settings, VoxHook does not intentionally use your private images, voice samples, scripts, or generated videos to train VoxHook-owned general-purpose AI models.
Whether third-party AI providers use data for model improvement depends on the provider’s product type, configuration, contract, region, and policies. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to select providers with data protection commitments and update this Policy and our subprocessors list when there are material changes to providers or processing methods.
9. Sharing, Disclosure, and Transfers
We do not sell your personal information. We share or disclose necessary information only in the following situations:
- With service providers for infrastructure, authentication, storage, AI processing, payment verification, error diagnostics, support, and safety tools.
- To generate, play, download, save, share, or publish content at your direction.
- To handle illegal activity, infringement, fraud, unauthorized likeness/voice cloning, child safety, platform attacks, or other safety incidents.
- To comply with law, regulators, court orders, government requests, app store review, or to protect VoxHook, users, rights holders, and the public.
- In a merger, acquisition, financing, asset transfer, reorganization, or similar transaction, subject to lawful transfer and continued protection by the recipient.
10. Retention and Deletion
| Data | Retention rule | Deletion or restriction |
|---|---|---|
| Generated videos, video segments, and generated audio | Retained for playback, download, support, and recovery, but no longer than 30 days; then deleted from business storage or made inaccessible. | You may delete videos or your account earlier; the system also cleans them under the 30-day rule. |
| RunningHub task inputs, outputs, and task records | RunningHub may temporarily process data for workflows, queues, output downloads, troubleshooting, and compliance. | VoxHook will use reasonable efforts to reduce third-party retention after task completion, download, or account deletion; actual deletion depends on the third party’s systems and policies. |
| Original images, voice samples, and digital avatar assets | Retained while your account exists to support reusable digital avatars, voice previews, and future generation. | You may delete related materials, delete your account, or contact us; after account deletion, data is deleted or de-identified except necessary records. |
| Scripts, prompts, and task settings | Retained while your account exists for history, regeneration, support, and experience improvement. | Deleted or de-identified on account deletion, except safety, audit, dispute, or legal records. |
| Payment, credit, invoice, and accounting records | Retained as necessary for transactions, tax, refunds, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations. | Usually cannot be fully deleted immediately with account deletion, but use will be restricted and identifiable data minimized where possible. |
| Security logs, error logs, and report records | Retained for a reasonable period for security, diagnostics, abuse prevention, and rights protection. | Deleted, aggregated, or de-identified when no longer needed; dispute, complaint, legal, or safety records may be retained longer. |
| Backups | Data in backup systems is retained according to backup rotation cycles. | Deleted when backups expire; individual records are generally not separately located and deleted during the backup cycle unless legally required or technically feasible. |
The “delete videos within 30 days” commitment applies to generated video files and related generated audio in VoxHook business storage. It does not mean all metadata, transaction records, logs, backup fragments, rights-handling records, or third-party records lawfully or contractually retained by others are deleted at the same time.
11. Account Deletion and Privacy Requests
You may initiate account deletion in the App. See Delete Account. Account deletion deletes or de-identifies account profile data, user materials, voice samples, digital avatars, generated videos, scripts, and related business data, except that we may retain the minimum records necessary for transactions, tax, fraud prevention, security, disputes, legal compliance, or audit.
If you cannot access the App, you may submit a deletion request at support@voxhook.com. To protect your account, we may ask you to verify your email, account, or other necessary information.
12. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on applicable law in your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict processing, object to processing, withdraw consent, close your account, complain, or appeal. You may exercise these rights through App settings or by contacting us.
- You may edit your nickname, avatar, language preference, and certain settings.
- You may deny or withdraw device permissions, but related features may not work.
- You may delete videos, materials, or your account.
- You may report suspected unauthorized use of likeness, voice, privacy, or intellectual property.
- You may ask us to explain, restrict, or delete specific personal information, except records retained for legal or safety reasons.
13. Children and Minors
VoxHook is not directed to children under 13. Users under the age of majority in their jurisdiction should use the Service only with parent or guardian consent and supervision. You must not upload a minor’s likeness, voice, or other personal information without lawful guardian authorization. If we identify risks involving minor safety, exploitation, sexualization, deception, or unauthorized use, we may refuse generation, delete content, restrict accounts, and report as required by law.
14. International Transfers
VoxHook is offered through overseas app stores and to global users. Our service providers may be located outside your country or region, including locations where RunningHub, Supabase, and other AI providers operate. By using VoxHook, you understand that your information may be transferred, stored, or processed in other jurisdictions. Where required by applicable law, we take reasonable measures such as minimization, access controls, contractual restrictions, and security safeguards.
15. Security Measures
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including server-side authentication, access controls, key management, signed URLs, log audit, minimization of third-party transfers, error monitoring, and permission separation. However, no internet, cloud storage, or AI service can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. Do not upload unlawful, highly sensitive, unauthorized, or unsuitable content for cloud processing.
16. Third-Party Links and Publishing Platforms
If you download generated videos and publish them on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Douyin, WeChat, or other platforms, those platforms process your content and account data under their own rules. VoxHook does not control third-party privacy, moderation, AI labeling, advertising, or deletion rules.
17. Updates
We may update this Policy due to product changes, third-party providers, laws, app store review requirements, or business adjustments. Material changes will be notified through the App, webpages, or other reasonable means. The updated Policy becomes effective on the date shown on the page. Continued use of VoxHook means you accept the updated Policy.
